Charlotte McNiff Ferguson

Charlotte started her career at a design build-firm in San Francisco, CA after receiving her BA at UC Boulder and Interior Architecture Masters Certificate at UC Berkeley. After relocating back to her hometown of Washington, DC, Charlotte worked as Director of Construction for Zoe Feldman Design from 2018 - 2022.

Charlotte is currently at Fajen & Brown, design build firm, as Director of Design. Charlotte is the liaison between the architects and clients in completing the design development before construction begins. She works closely with Project Managers and Cabriole Studio, specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, millwork design, and lighting.

Respecting a building's history while incorporating seamless detailing is Charlotte's mission. Charlotte's style consists of layering spaces with color, texture, and a fresh perspective that uniquely reflects the client needs and building's personality. With 13 years of Experience in both traditional and contemporary interiors and exteriors, Charlotte is able to translate any style to satisfy the desires of an assortment of different clients. She is most passionate about increasing property value, building upon a project's unique character, and improving spaces with more natural light.

Charlotte enjoys spending time on the weekends with her family, friends, and dog in Rock Creek Park. Over the holidays, she loves visiting her parents out West to ski, ride horses, and fly fish.

Lockhart is the namesake of Charlotte's grandmother, who influenced her greatly at a young age and inspired her to become an interior architectural designer.
